Purpose of vessel

• Containment of accidental oil and petroleum products spills with flash point less than 60 deg. С
• Collecting from vessels of oily bilge waters, their setting, separation of petroleum products by pumping to residual oil tank and delivery of residual oil to storage ashore as well as delivery of separated clean water either ashore or its pumping overboard in permitted areas
• Collecting from vessels of sewage waters and waste their transportation and delivery to shore
• Search and rescue of crews of vessels in distress and oil and gas offshore producing platforms, fire fighting

Process equipment for oil collection

• Built in LAMOR (LORS 5C) oil collecting system on starboard and port with capacity of 260 m3/ hr each;
• Four LAMOR hydraulic coils for storage of booms(HSR), 4 sections of booms 30 m long each;
• Boom defenses with total length of booms available on board the vessel equal to 480 meters (model for marine platforms);
• Boom layer launch;
• Truxor / Truxor DM 5000 amphibious vehicle and hanged skimmer on Artic Skimmer type crane for collection of oil from the ice;
• There is a provision on upper deck of the vessel for installation of at least 2 process container storage units on base of 20 ft marine containers. The above containers may have a different allotment and may be used subject to necessity during undertaking of one or another emergency rescue operation.

Special fire-fighting system

• 2 pumps with capacity 800 m3/ hr;
• 2 fire fighting monitors;

There is a provision of a place on upper deck for installation of self-contained container type fire-fighting module (APMKT) with “Purga-300” systems of combined firefighting (UKTP) with water capacity 300 l/s , and foam capacity 9000 l/s
