Over 50 Years now JSC “SSTC” has been engaged in development and production of thermal cutting machines (TCM) of different model types for shipbuilding and other industries and is justly considered to be the leader among OEMs of the Russian Federation in this field

Multifunctional thermal cutting machine for finish cutting of models’ plate blankets.
Thermal cutting machines are intended for high productive and high precision cutting of carbon steel and rust-resistant steel sheets as well as non-ferrous metal alloy sheets.
Modular configuration of thermal cutting machines (TCM) makes it possible to manufacture on customer’s request the machine of any make (gas, plasma, laser or combined options) along with stand-by jigging kit for marking and layout work.
At a customer’s option TCM may be supplied as a part of the system including a cutting table and a filter-ventilation unit, that enable solving of environmental matters of production premises greening.

– Laser module
Laser cutting module is intended for cut out of a wide range of materials including structural and stainless steel, aluminum and others.
- lack of open optical channel for energy transmission;
- cost effectiveness of cutting technological processes due to high efficiency of fiber optical ytterbium laser;
- low operating cost for maintenance of the system in the whole

– Plasma module for marking and layout work
The module is intended for computer aided marking and layout of profile rolled steel parts before cutting out. Application of marking module in TCM configuration enables eliminating manual marking operation.

– Vented cutting table
TCM included in system configuration is equipped with a proprietary vented cutting table of sectional design. Drawing out of polluting emissions takes place directly from cutting zone. Extraction of contaminated air from sectional table is carried out by filter-ventilation unit which purifies it and returns back to the workshop, preserving heat balance in the room.
– THM control software program
THM is equipped with a special purpose control panel using which one can perform the following:
- To switch On and switch Off cutting process;
- To position the cutter to any point of the cutting table in manual mode;
- To adjust cutter travel speed and cutter height above the sheet both in manual and automatic mode;
- To program cut shape, change the scale, turn to any angle defined by respective constant, enter equidistant curve to the cut width.
Software solutions “Ritm-Sudno” of JSC “SSTC”, “Tekhtran” of “NIP-Informatika” company and software products of other OEMs can be applied for computer-aider preparation of control program on office computer and solving of problem of optimal metal plate cutting out.
