Bench for assembly and welding of invar pipes
The bench is intended for mechanized assembly, tack welding and automatic seam welding of membrane tube, – component of membrane tanks of gas carrier vessels which consists of a wooden box with thermal insulation lined with invar.
Modular design enables to accommodate the bench at production premises without additional construction and installations works. The tack welding during assembly is carried out by spot welding.

After considering the results of the competition “The Best innovative project and the best research and engineering pilot project of the year”, within the frames of “St. Petersburg Technical Fair” exhibition held in St. Petersburg on 12-14 March 2013 the pilot project was awarded with I degree diploma and a gold medal in category “The best innovative pilot project in the field of computer-aided manufacturing”.
