CONTENTS

Pashyn V. M. Problems demanding urgent solution Grounded in the article is the great importance of marine activities for present-day civilization. Also discussed are the problems of domestic fleet and shipbuilding industry, the reasons of crisis occurrences and the priority ways of shipbuilding further development.

AT THE SHIPBUILDING YARDS NORTHERN SHIPYARD, USC, ZVEZDOCHKS SHIPYARD, ASPO, ALMAZ SHIPYARD, AMUR SHIPYARD, VYMPEL DESIGN BUREAU, PELLA SHIPYARD, SEVMASH SHIPYARD, GALAKTIKA SHIPYARD, BORREMFLOT SHIPYARD

CIVIL SHIPBUILDING

Milavin S. A., Posadov D. A. Designing of ships in Russian realities. Technical problems The article represents the experience of Tribon three-dimensional designing system application in JSC DB «Vympel» as well as the ways of solution of CAD/CAM systems introduc-tion problems enabling to reduce terms of ship designing and building and to improve product quality.

NAVAL SHIPBUILDING

Gulin V. S. Radiation environment modeling using multichannel modeling complex МКМ-1 Examined in the article is a problem of providing trouble-free and safe nuclear powerplant operation. It can be solved by means of various preventive actions such as education and training of personnel behavior in radiation emergency conditions. For this purpose a special program of radiation conditions scenarios generation was developed with provision for their further introduction into МКМ-1 complex enabling modeling of radiation conditions on the ship.

Ivanov I. V. Construction of project 945 type nuclear submarine «Barrakuda» at JSC «Krasnoye Sormovo» The author narrates about the project development and construction of «Barrakuda» sub-marine at the plant of «Krasnoye Sormovo».

SHIPBOARD POWER PLANTS

Grigoryev A. V., Glekler E. A., Livshyts A. I., Ulitovsky D. I. Surveying ship «Vaygach» powerplant operational experience The article discloses the results of two-year operation of electric powerplant of «Vaygach» surveying ship. The ship’s electromoving system performs its functionality ensuring the required static and dynamic properties scheduled by the design. The quality of electric energy in shipboard network is satisfactory in all operating modes. Main diesel generators’ power was selected with significant reserve, the generator’s diesel drives resulting to work with fractional load. Powerplant operational experience showed the necessity to update flaw control system.

Konoplyov K. G. A new principle of shipboard synchronous generators’ adjustment Disclosed are problems and prospects of application of synchronous generators with pulse regulating systems on contemporary civil and naval ships with electric powerplants.

SHIPBOARD EQUIPMENT

Fomin A. P. Concerning a shipboard drinking-water systems’ design rules standard The author examines the main theses of shipbuilding standard ОСТ5Р.5391–2010 «Ship-board drinking-water system. Design rules» put into action on July 1, 2010. Disclosed is the structure of a new standard and the most significant differences from a previously in-force directive on systems’ design rules.

Avdyunina V. A., Guzanov N. P., Matviyenko S. I., Popov S. V. On improvement of cooling system for open submersible electric motors The authors analyze principle design of open submersible electric motor. Examined in details are the problems of cooling process intensification. The suggested technical solution allows to guarantee the required cooling for open submersible electric motor without essential changing the design.

Minasyan M. A., Minasyan A. M. Arrangement, creation and application experience of rope vibration insulators Examined in the article are the questions of arrangement and creation of rope vibration insulators on the basis of gained experience of their development, improvement and application on different technical objects.

Loza A. A., Loza A. V. Combined heating panels and built-in equipment for galleys Described in the article is the experience of application of Baratta (Italy) compact galley equipment on small vessels.

Vakulov P. S., Rozinov A. Ya. Condition and evolution ways of expansion bellows research and experimental development Considered in the article are engineering and design peculiarities and efficiency of exist-ing and proposed expansion bellows including their corrugated bellows and unloading devices. With a view of expansion bellows effectiveness increase it is necessary to perform analytical investigations of their bellows and unloading devices strained state as well as resulting asymmetric and shifting-rotary loadings.

SHIPBUILDING ORGANIZATION AND TECHNOLOGY

Alfyorov V. I. Estimated evaluation of fitting amount when assembling ship hull structures erection joints on the basis of dimensional analysis The author examines possibility to reduce percentage of joints being fitted when assembling hull sections erection joints. The article discloses probable dependences of volume of adja-cent sections (blocks) fitting on tolerances for connection elements dimensional drift (also with provision for welding strain), tolerances for sections deviation from principal planes and tolerances for shift of elements to be joined.

Popov V. I., Kuklin O. S. Standardization of engineering processes and boundary condition of deformation when manufacturing ship hull pieces of new steels and aluminum alloys Considered in the article are main differences of new standards ОСТ5Р.9897–2010 and ОСТ5Р.95079–2010 from previously in-force ОСТ5Р.9897–82 and РД5.95079–91, including shipbuilding steels of foreign classification societies delivered on national standards in accordance with AISI/SAE and equivalent to Russian analogues. Defined are boundary condition of deformation when manufacturing sheet and profile pieces of new steels and aluminum alloys.

Legostaev V. Yu. Evaluation of technological influence on hull steels when straight-ening rolled sheet metal Analyzed in the article are sheets deviation from plane as delivered to the plant. To define parameters and modes of sheets straightening the author gives recommendations on medium sheets curvature through relative radii of rolled sheet metal distortions for mild low-alloyed steels as well as for light alloys. Also given in the article are typical Talyrond traces of sheets with differ-ent thickness as delivered.
