Egorov G. V., Kardash O. A., Avtutov N. V. Shallow-draught tug for «Norilsk Nickel» Described in the article is tug «Portovy 1» built by JSC «Zavod Nizhegorodsky Teplokhod» in 2009, (project TG04 by CJSC «Marine Engineering Bureau») for OJSC «MMC “Norilsk Nickel”» Frantsev M. E. Design peculiarities of foreign coastal fishing vessels of composite materials The article represents characteristics of Japan, European and Australian coastal fishing vessels with composite hulls

Lensky V. F. , Kaplin I. V. Analysis of potential emergency conditions when building offshore oil-and-gas producing platforms On the basis of JSC CDB Corall’s experience the authors describe algorithm of work on analysis of potential emergency conditions for floating drilling rigs during their construction at the yard and transportation to their operation area.

NAVAL SHIPBUILDING

Zamukov V. V. Testing peculiarities of type nuclear powerplants for type naval ships Examined in the article are development principles and test stages of type nuclear power-plants for type naval ships. Represented are proposals for contents of dockside trials procedures, for lettering of nuclear powerplant components with «O1» and for expediency of developing directive document regulating the procedure and structure of drawing the documents of all nuclear powerplants test stages for type and serial warships.

Baskakov I. Ya. Small hunting vessels. Wartime projects The author describes little-known details of a few series of small hunting vessels designing and building in time of the Great Patriotic war.

SHIPBOARD POWER PLANTS

Yasakov G. S., Grigorenko V. S., Bubnov E. A., Kalinin I. M., Zemsky A. Yu. Processes modeling in nuclear reactor with variable-frequency electric drive Disclosed are problems of application of controllable electric drive of primary circuit circulation pump for coolant constant temperature maintenance. Control system is proposed which can operate in common with system controlling power subject to a coolant average temperature. The processes of reactor capacity control are studied by means of mathematical modeling.

Obozov A. A. Algorithm for diagnostics of marine slow-speed diesel cylinder combustion chamber seal failure The author analyzes a method to diagnose marine diesel combustion chamber seal failure. The basis of the method is formed with registration and analysis of typical points of diesel detecting process with dead fuel feed and cylinder. Combustion chamber diagnostics algorithm is developed using theory of artificial perception (discriminant analysis).

Sumenkov V. M., Sen L. I. Model of fluid film flow in front of a drain hole of cen-trifugal and rotary nozzles On the basis of theoretical study of a model of fluid film flow in front of a drain hole of centrifugal and rotary nozzles it is demonstrated that for marine boilers rotary furnaces should be preferred.

SHIPBOARD EQUIPMENT

Khvatov B. N. Influence of surface layer state on corrosion-fatigue strength of hydromachine blades Investigation of influence of different steel working methods on surface layer state and corrosion-fatigue strength of steel 06X12НЗД allowed to get new information about the influence of strain stress state of surface layer metal on its electrochemical stability and strength under conditions of periodic load in corrosive environment. The author suggests practical recommendations about rational methods of large curved surfaces final treatment in order to provide high corrosion-fatigue strength of propellers and various hydromachines blades.

Zhylinkov V. I., Katanovich A. A. Shipboard computer-aided system for telemetric control datalogging Grounded in the article is the necessity to develop and introduce in all areas an emergency computer-aided data registration and documentation system. Analyzed are principles of creation of a complex for ship vital activity control data processing and registration. The authors propose a structure and lay-out of casing-and-mechanical part of a device for registration and transmission of data received from systems of ship objects state monitoring.

MARINE INSTRUMENT ENGINEERING

Filimonenko A. A., Nidziyev I. I., Ivakin Ya. A. Analysis of problems and ways of computer-aided education, combat and operational training development Considered in the article are problems of military men education and upbringing, as well as computer-aided education systems for members of staff of various application processes management.

SHIPBUILDING MATERIALS

Orlov L. N., Sharapov M. G., Volynets V. L. Effect of microalloying with boron on weld metal properties when welding shipbuilding steel with rutile powder wire The authors examine the effect of microalloying with boron on chemistry, microstructure and mechanical properties of metal welded with powder wire 48ПП-8Н and ППс-ТМВ7 in case of shipbuilding steel CO2 welding. Microalloying with boron results in increase in strength and impact toughness of weld metal at total high corrosion resistance of welded joints.

SHIPREPAIR AND UTILIZATION

Antonenko S. V. Docking of ships with large forward and after overhangs into a floating dock Described in the article is docking of aircraft carrier «Minsk» and guided missile cruiser «Frunze» into a floating dock of 80 000 t capacity.
