AT THE SHIPYARDS

SHIP DESIG

Kovtun L. I., Polyakov V. N., Semyonov S. V. Human factor and man-caused emergences on ships.
The authors consider psychological particulars of man in processes of making deci-sions in extreme conditions of sailing. They propose arrangements for increase of effi-ciency of man’s management activities in such situations, suggestions about expected results of investigations in the area of computer simulation of human factor in complex system «crew - ship», as well as in the area of teaching and training of crews.

Rusetsky A. A. Experience in use of gas-water jet propellers and evalua-tion of their efficiency.
Reasons of unsuccessful use of hydromotor at ships of projects 204 and 35 that are connected with not sufficiently detailed consideration of two-stage gas-water jet propel-ler efficiency factor are analyzed.

Goltraf V. I., Kobzev V. V., Kurilo A. I., Nefedovitch A. V. Ergonomic exper-tise during naval ship design.
The authors consider goals, tasks, essence and forms of execution of ergonomic ex-pertise at the level of ship, ACS and autonomous systems of individual aggregate con-trol. The specific recommendations are given that increase combat efficiency of ships due to improvement of their ergonomic indices.

NAVAL SHIPBUILDING

Novikov A. F. Optimization of submarine air regeneration system.
The system of electrochemical air regeneration (ECAR) aboard nuclear and diesel submarines is proposed that is five time cheaper than CAR.

Yaroshenko A. V. Method of automatic search topologically weak points in shipboard systems arrangement.
The author considers a concept that is new for shipbuilding - topologically weak point in shipboard systems arrangement. A procedure is proposed for search of such points in the process of ship design with the use of computer information technologies.

SHIPBOARD POWER PLANTS

Stacenko V. N., Yakubovsky Yu. V. Prospects for improvement of ecologi-cal safety of shipboard power plants.
The authors analyze methods of improvement of ecological efficiency of shipboard power plants and propose method of liquid neutralization for cleansing of smoke fumes, as well as complex system for decreasing of toxicity of liquid spillage into water media and gas release into atmosphere. Separate components of complex system can be used aboard ships of various types.

Turkin V. A. Taking into account the factors of safety of shipboard equip-ment during evaluation of probability of emergency situation arising.
The article indicates that important place in prevention of accidents that occur during operation of ocean ships belongs to provision of safety of technical equipment. It is proposed to determine probability of emergency arising by method of simulation with the use of logic-linguistic model.

Ivanov R. A., Timofeev V. V., Shitkov V. N. About prospects of application of gas turbine plants aboard ocean ships and structures.
The authors consider the problem of application of gas turbine plants aboard high-speed cargo vessels, cruise ships, and as part of floating electric power stations and ocean oil drilling platforms. It is shown that in case of allocation of necessary financing Russian industry is able to deliver to shipbuilding, oil-producing and electric power in-dustries gas turbine equip, emt of required capacity range.

Tikhomirov G .I. Physical simulation of process of oily mixtures separa-tion in coalescence stage of purification on the basis of granular poly-meric materials.
The author describes the results of experimental researches of process of oily mixtures separation in regeneration coalescence stages of shipboard treatment installations on the basis of some granular polymeric materials.

MARINE ELECTRICAL AND RADIO EQUIPMENT

Odinaev V. A. State-space mathematical model of shipboard electric power system. Operative desicion-making.
The author proposes to represent shipboard electric power system (SES) in the form of mathematical graph each line of each serves for designation of one or a number con-secutively connected components of SES (power units and converters, cables, etc.). Stated theoretical theses are the basis of a theory of development of SES management decision-making support systems.

Muravchenko V. L. Reserve of shipboard broad-band radio transmitters power increase.
Quantitative evaluation of radio transmitter output capacity in dependence from intrinsic traveling wave factor of broadband power amplifier is given. It is shown that capacity of shipboard broadband radio transmitters can be increased by taking into consideration the impedance of output circuits of their power amplifiers and use of devices of these circuits coordination with loading.

MARINE CONTROL SYSTEMS

Borisov Yu. I. About realizability of reception and processing tracts of passive systems of underwater acoustic survey on the basis of special-ized microprocessors of national manufacture.
Possibilities of utilization of specialized microprocessors NM 6403/NM 6404 for digital processing of signals in passive acoustic survey tract are analyzed.

SHIPBUILDING AND MARINE ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIES

Burmistrov E. G. Improvement of ecological safeness of shipbuilding in-dustry by methods of engineering optimization.
Procedure for execution of optimization calculations during development of ecology protection technologies in shipbuilding is proposed. As a criterion of optimum an index of works ecology safety level Le is recommended, and as an optimized parameter — annual benefit due to utilization ecology protecting technologies.

Ganov E. V., Smirnova I. A. Application of PC for developing drawings and preproduction in manufacture of shipboard pipelines.
Problems of constructing shipboard pipeline systems on PC and subdividing them into separate units are considered.

UTILIZATION OF SHIPS

Alexandrov N. I., Anitropov V. A., Rozinov A. Ya., Tarasov I. N. Main organ-izational and technological principles of utilization of NTM vessels
The authors consider the sequence b particulars of technology of execution of works connected with utilization of NTM vessels. Technological sequence of works proposed by the authors is interconnected with the requirements of provision of stability and hull strength of NTM vessels.
