SHIPBOARD POWER PLANTS

Doroshchenko A. V. Research of steam pipe warm-up feasibility using working medium with nominal parameters. The warm-up mode feasibility for steam pipeline of steam-turbine plant using steam with nomi-nal parameters is considered. To provide leveling of steam pipeline thermal field for wall thick-ness it is proposed to use protective dosing layer. The results of design effectiveness study of proposed engineering solution are presented.

Soskov V. A. About discharge of hydrocarbon fuel combustion products not connected with the environment during underwater operation of power plants. The heat engineering basis of system for liquefaction of carbon dioxide (CD) from discharged gases of air-independent power plants (PP) operating on hydrocarbon fuel with heat transfer to gasified oxygen is demonstrated. The heat hydraulic circuit of proposed CD liquefaction system is considered. The following power plants are envisaged as the promising ones in the use of the above system: PP with the CD regenerable sorbent and internal heat supply engines (internal combustion engines, gas turbines etc.) utilizing an argon as the working gas basis and PP with chemical oxyhydrogen type generator and system for obtaining of hydrogen by means of hydro-carbon fuel conversion.

Medvedev V. V., Semionichev D. S. Principles of employment of electronic control and diagnosis systems for prediction of technical state and risk assessment. Information on current state of electronic control systems for marine diesels and their diagnosis system is provided. The principles of electronic control and diagnosis systems employment for prediction and risk assessment in design and upgrading of ship power plants are recommended.

SHIPBOARD EQUIPMENT

Lobov S. A., Katanovich A. A., Cherenkov A. V. Construction principles of ship fiber-optic safety monitoring system. The problems of increasing the reliability and survivability of ship fiber-optic safety monitoring system for Navy surface ships and submarines are considered. An integrated automatic alarm signaling system construction based on optoelectronic sensors has been proposed.

Potyanikhin A. N., Romanchenko M. K., Baranovskiy A. M. Problems of reducing structural vibration of river ships. The causes of low efficiency of main onboard engine vibroinsulation are being analyzed. The possible increase of vibroinsulation effectiveness has been considered. A change raw of vibroinsulators under load of 1.2–5.0 кN is developed. Examples of utilizing the proposed vibroinsulators with distributed resilient members in ship generating stations are provided.
