AT THE SHIPYARDS

SHIP DESIGN

Boytsov G. V. New principles in standardization of ships' strength
The author gives proof to the necessity of revision of conventional standardization and provision of hull structures strength schemes on the basis of modern computer technologies.

Semyonova V. Yu. Calculation of nonlinear rolling of a ship positioned broadside to the regular sea
A procedure is proposed for calculation of nonlinear hydrodynamic forces that arise at ship's rolling and solution of rolling differential equations system taking these forces into account. Obtained results allow to make a conclusion about considerable influence of nonlinear factors.

Ter-Akopov A.M. General purpose cargo-passenger vessel
The author gives description and technical particulars of the lead general purpose cargo-passenger vessel intended for operation in river Hatanga and being built under project 2707 at PC "Krasnoyarsk Shipbuilding Wharf".

Ovsyannikov I.I., Shiskin A.D., Buyanov S.I., Nikolsky B.I. Multipurpose automobile-passenger-railway ferry for Baltic basin
The authors tell about new generation automobile-passenger-railway ferry ÏÌ-130/300 intended for operation in Baltic basin. Technical parameters are given for the project of this ferry and existing ferries of national and foreign build.

SHIPBOARD POWER PLANTS

Karagodina V. D. Particulars of automatization of main power plants of prospective surface ships
The author considers particulars of automatization of various types of main power plants with the use of microprocessor computer techniques.

Turkin V. A. Influence of design features upon safe shipboard auxiliary boilers operation
The author proposes procedures for strengthening of shipboard auxiliary boilers operation safety.

MARINE CONTROL SYSTEMS

Agunov A. V. Active voltage filtration in shipboard limited capacity electric power systems with nonlinear loading
The article describes an original method of active voltage filtration in shipboard limited capacity electric power systems with nonlinear and parametrical loading which permits to solve problems of supply mains' voltage quality improvement and provision of electromagnet compatibility in shipboard limited capacity electric power systems with nonlinear and parametrical loading.

Shamberov V. N. Investigation of dry friction influence upon accuracy and stability of shipboard automatic systems
A new approach to analytical investigation of stability and accuracy of multilinked automatic systems nonlinear dynamic models is shown. A mathematical model of a component with friction obtained with application of non-coulomb approximation of dry friction law for accounting of dry friction in controllers of these systems is proposed. Stability conditions are determined for systems with accepted dry friction model.

MARINE ELECTRICAL AND RADIO EQUIPMENT

Babiy V. I. Algorithmic method of increase of shipboard hydroacoustic speed of sound meters accuracy
The author proposes a simple mathematical model of hydroacoustic speed of sound meters that takes diffraction effect into account. The model allows to realize the potential possibilities of meters and to increase their accuracy with the use of algorithmic method.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

Rudoy K. V. Calculation of strength of port side sponson under influence of external pressure
The author proposes to calculate the strength of complex ship structure (sponson) by finite-element method with the use of software package Cosmos M. On the base of 3D model a design finite-element model of sponson structure was developed and structure components' mode of deformation was calculated. Results of calculations are presented in graphical form.

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AND ECONOMICS

Isaev A. A., Polyakov Yu. I., Rudnev A. I. Justification of ship building cost
The authors consider the problems of determination of various types of ships building cost at different stages of their design basing on calculation method and particulars of price setting in conditions of modern market relations in Russian Federation. Description of indices used for calculations and software for determination of ship building cost is given.

SHIPBUILDING AND MARINE ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIES

Gutkin Yu. M. Determination of rigidity of longitudinal building berth pilework under influence of pivoting loads
The article describes the engineering method of evaluation of rigidity of longitudinal building berth pilework under influence of short-time pivoting loads during ship launch.

Krushenko G. G., Burov A. E., Kozlov A. A., Taldykin Yu. A. Improvement of accuracy of manufacture of water-jet blade wheel
The authors tell about technological developments that allow to use foundry for manufacture of propellers. The measures for provision of design ship speed are proposed.

SHIPBUILDING MATERIALS

Kudryavtseva I. V., Bashaeve E. N., Pavlov V. N. High-strength corrosion-resistant steel of grade 07Õ16ÍÁ4 and prospects of its utilization in offshore regions
The article presents the results of investigation of steel grade 07Õ16ÍÁ4 for corrosion cracking, cycle strength in air and sea water and also corrosion-abrasive wear that have shown that this steel is a prospective material for manufacturing of high-loaded marine engineering components.

Baryshnikov A. P., Gezha V. V., Grischenko L. V. Materials for welding of structures of drilling platforms that operate in Arctic conditions
The article tells about new welding materials developed in CRI SM "Prometey" for welding of structures made of cold-resistant, high-strength steels and steels of improved strength operated at negative temperatures (down to minus 60 °C).

Sudareva N. G., Smyslova L. A., Nosyreva G. V. New heat-insulation and finishing materials for shipbuilding
The authors present a range of heat-insulation and finishing materials developed in recent years by CR CM "Prometey" that possess the complex of features conforming to the requirements of national shipbuilding and international classification societies.

REPAIR AND MODERNIZATION OF SHIPS

Demchenko A. P., Smirnov A. G. Problems of floating dock hull strength control
The authors analyze the problem of deformations and stresses control in hulls of floating docks during execution of docking operations for the purpose of provision of safety in the process of immersion or emersion of a dock with a ship and also at staying of a ship in a floating dock.
