Investigation of skeg hydrodynamic properties subject to ship hull interference on the basis of discrete vortex features method Using the method of numerical simulation and approximate method the author researches hydrodynamic characteristics (HDC) of tug’s skeg in case of drift angle circular change for advance and rotary motion with different path curvature radii. Nonlinear vortex model features are analyzed, as well as capabilities of computer program created on this model basis. Presented are the results of numeric computation of submersible vehicle’s fin HDC and its comparison with known results of model testing in wind channel.

Creation of land complexes for recharging of submarines’ nuclear reactors on shipbuilding enterprises.Analyzed is the state of infrastructure objects providing the recharging of submarines’ and surface ships’ nuclear reactors in the Northern and Far East regions. Also described are basic technological operations as well as the state of technical means supporting the whole complex of works on nuclear reactors recharging, including subsequent spent fuel and hard and liquid radioactive waste handling. The authors show the necessity to create land complexes for recharging of reactors at the enterprises of shipbuilding industry that have got already a part of required infrastructure and trained personnel.

Influence of surface layer state on hydroabrasive strength of hydromachine blades Analysis of of different treatment methods influence on the state of surface layer and on hydroabrasive wear of 06X12HЗД steel allowed to get a new concept of hydroabrasive strength of hydromachines’ details which is connected with its treatment. The authors propose practical recommendations for efficient methods of finishing treatment of large curved surfaces in order to provide high hydroabrasive strength for hydromachines details.
