AT THE SHIPYARDS

SHIP DESIGN

Sorochkin V. A. River-marine cargo vessel "Boris Szcherbina"
Description of river-marine cargo vessel of project 00352 "Boris Szcherbina" built according to design elaborated by PC DB "Vympel" at JSC "Kiev Shipbuilding-Shiprepair Yard" is given. The vessel is untended for carrying general cargoes, coal, international standard containers etc.

Veselkov V. V., Vekslyar V. Ya., Zaynullin O. F. Methodology of submarines' surfaces geometric simulation during design and preproduction
The article considers basic theses of submarines' surfaces geometric simulation procedure with elaboration of their mathematical models integrated for utilization at all stages of design that include organization of process preproduction and support of building. Unification of submarines' surfaces mathematical determination, based upon quadric curves analytical dependencies, is applied during development of mathematical models.

NAVAL SHIPBUILDING

Dronov B. F. Contribution of SDMBE "Malakhit" to scientific ant technical potential of Russian sea capital
The author gives a brief review of SDMBE "Malakhit" main design programs, their connection with St.-Petersburg research institutes, design bureaus and enterprises as the contribution of the bureau to scientific and technical potential of Russian fleet cradle and Russian sea capital.

SHIPBOARD POWER PLANTS

Shmakov R. A., Ivakin N. G. Nuclear power plants for submarines designed by SDMBE "Malakhit"
The authors consider main designs of nuclear power plants for submarines designed by SDMBE "Malakhit" and created under leadership and with participation of RAS academician A. P. Alexsandrov.

Chachko V. S. Particulars of heat and hydraulic processes in shipboard condensing installations during development and emergency termination of cooling water circulation
The article describes main particulars of non-stationary heat and hydraulic processes typical for shipboard condensing installations during development of natural circulation of cooling water and in case of emergency termination of cooling water circulation.

HULL GEAR AND ARRANGEMENTS

Loza A. V. New equipment for shipboard food supply system
Principally new multi-functional kitchen unit for food preparation aboard the ship that combines the functions of an oven and steamer and utilizes a moistening mode is proposed.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

Lipis A. V., Ryzhov V. A., Sizov V. A. Possibilities of application of ERP-systems in shipbuilding
Main functions of ERP-systems within their application to shipbuilding are considered. The ways of salvation of the range of tasks of engineering and detail design, planning and management of different levels with the use of ERP-system Manufacturing Knowledge are considered.

Golovanov V. S., Krasnov N. M., Krasnov M. V. Unigraphics system for lofting preparation of production
Problems of application of computer-aided system Unigraphics for lofting preparation of ship hull production are analyzed. Upon the example of bicurvature complex surfaces modeling, their analysis and editing a #D ship model is obtained, and it is used for accurate placing of units and equipment and for creation of hull components database.

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AND ECONOMICS

Rogozin V. A., Ryabenky L. M. Development of computer-aided labour expenditures management system at FSUE "Admiralty Shipyards"
The authors consider one the most important components of ship building management system - management of labour expenditures of works' planning-accounting units. Basing on operation experience of FSUE "Admiralty Shipyards" they propose an organizational model of automatization of calculation, storage and exchange of data on labour expenditures that will rise the effectiveness of application of computer-aided ship building management systems in conditions of calendar-nomenclature planning.
