The author gives the results of investigation of experimental gas turbine engine's rendering tank economizer fed with cold water. Recommendations for decrease of negative influence of effects that arise during the operation of heat-exchange apparatuses in conditions of low-temperature corrosion are given.

Valdayev M. M. Diagnosing of hydraulic drive technical condition
Using the example of hydraulic cargo cranes and steering engines the author shows the possibility of their technical condition diagnosing in case of availability of design, delivery or previously obtained data. For the cranes it is the time of execution of similar operations by different cranes. Pressures, number of switching-on and ship's yaw are diagnostic parameters in steering engines.

A new methodology is given for calculation of dynamic and kinematical parameters of icebreaker and towed ship that permit to evaluate correctly the loads that effect upon fender devices and hull structures during piloting ships in ice.

A simple approach to refining of welding power sources available at shipbuilding enterprises by power factor correction units is described. The proposed approach is an inexpensive salvation for the problem of supply main quality improvement and decrease of electric power consumption by welding equipment.
