JSC "SSTC" will participate in IMDS-2015

 In July 2015 JSC "SSTC" will participate in International Maritime Defense Show (IMDS - 2015); this event is one of the biggest exhibitions in shipbuilding and marine armaments. At the stand of JSC "SSTC" (No. 715, 7th pavilion of exhibition complex Lenexpo) following developments will be presented:
- Establishment of on-shore facilities for support, maintenance and repair of surface ships and submarines;    
- Development, modernization and technical rearmament of shiprepair and shipbuilding yards;
- Advanced shipbuilding and shiprepair technologies, including laser and robotized technologies, technologies for cutting, bending and welding of pipes and steel plates, including also surface cleaning;
- Designing of advanced vessels, including specialships;
- Naval metrology, equipment and tools for adjustment of precision weapon systems of ships;
- Calculation and examination of pricing, labor norming and intensity;
- Design and testing of marine pipe fittings.    

By virtue of interactive electronic model, our visitors will be able to see results of up-to-date shipbuilding complex designing; the same was carried out by JSC "SSTC" for modernization of production facilities of JSC Severnaya Verf (Northern shipyard).This model will highlight advantages of engineering solutions, proposed by JSC SSTC, as well as economical and social importance of designed facilities.      
Presently, all globe strategically important industrial trends apply lasers for materials processing. Russian shipbuilding is not an exception, and the same sets requirement to develop and implement laser technologies on Russian shipyards. To meet requirements of shipbuilding, shiprepair and marine engineering, JSC "SSTC" developed following innovative technologies and equipment:
-    Line for flat sections manufacturing, using laser cutting technologies including preparation of edges with angle up to 15 degree, single-pass hybrid arc-laser welding of panels up to 20 mm thick with simultaneous two-side hybrid arc-laser welding of web. Procedure of hybrid arc-laser welding of panels and web is approved by Russian Maritime Registry of Shipping (Certificate No. 13.02754.314 dated August 06, 2013);

-     Robotized complex for 3D precision laser cutting and welding;

-   Robotized complex for laser marine engineering articles, equipped with two replaceable optical heads, allowing different technological operations, including:

•    Welding in hard-to-reach places by focusing laser beam perpendicular to internal surface of cylindrical parts;

•    Welding of tube plates of heat exchangers (due to of controlled reflecting mirrors laser beam travels on pre-set trajectory and welds tubes inside tube plate within seconds).

-    Serial manufacturing of laser cutting machine Ritm-Laser.
Samples of welds, charts, films and booklets, telling about equipments, as well as consultations of JSC "SSTC" specialists will provide to visitors of IMDS-2015 exhaustive information on innovative technologies of naval shipbuilding.
JSC "SSTC" developed for naval shipbuilding multipurpose complex for torpedo tubes installation and repair, allowing checking geometrical parameters and positioning of launching and stopping devices of torpedo tubesand providing coupling and accident-free launching of torpedoes. JSC "SSTC" developed in 2014 and presents at IMDS-2015 conceptual design of multipurpose arctic rescue icebreaker, designed for oil and gas industry, but the same vessel can be used in other areas, related to exploration of Russian Arctic region by resolving tasks as follows:
-    Providing complex safety of offshore facilities on sea oil and gas fields, including those, located on shelf of Russian Arctic and Far Eastern regions;

-    Recovery of oil spills, including recovery of the same from ice;

-    Rescue of emergency platforms personnel and crews of emergency vessels;

-    Providing navigational safety of oil and gas platforms in freezing and ice-covered periods;

-    Fire extinguishing on emergency oil and gas platforms and vessels;

-    Tugging operations, providing icebreaker assistance to tankers and supply vessels;

-    Carrying out of underwater works on depth up to 300 m.

Samples of marine fittings, designed by JSC "SSTC", compose a significant part of our exposition at IMDS-2015. Regulating straight-way flanged ball valve with electric drive and backup manual control, ball flood valve hydraulic drive, rotary gate valve with electric drive and backup manual control are only a small part of marine fittings, designed by JSC "SSTC" for naval and civil vessels. Also visitors are traditionally interested in presentation of new issues of magazines “Sudostroenie” and “Herald of shipbuilding and shiprepair technologies”, which you can get free of charge at IMDS-2015.  

At IMDS-2015 specialists from JSC "SSTC" will arrange International scientific-practical conference Simulation and complex modeling of marine facilities and transportation systems, specialists from Russian as well as foreign specialists will participate in the same.
    Also, in frames of IMDS-2015, branch specialists will be acquainted with latest developments of JSC SSTC in the area of informational technologies at international conference MORINTEKH-PRAKTIK: Informational technologies in shipbuilding – 2015. Our specialists will provide following reports:
-    Automation of hull plating shop’s services of JSC Yantar using system Ritm-Sudno;

-   Experience of special software development, purposed for making up control programs for thermal cutting equipment of hull plating facilities.
