JSC "SSTC" took part in NEVA-2015 exhibition
JSC SSTC took part in 13th international exhibition cum conference NEVA-2015, devoted to merchant shipbuilding, shipping, port operations and off-shore activities, which was held in Saint Petersburg from September 22 to 25.
This year over 500 companies from 34 countries took part in the exhibition and national booths were organized with participation and support from governments, export councils and marine industry associations of leading marine countries (Republic of Korea, China, Turkey, Finland, Netherlands, Norway and others).
JSC SSTC presented at their recent developments in the following fields :
• Laser and robotized technologies in shipbuilding and shiprepair;
• Advanced technologies for shipbuilding and shiprepair, including techniques for assembly, welding, cutting, bending of plates and pipes, surface cleaning;
• Designing, modernization and augmentation of shipbuilding and shiprepair facilities;
• Designing of new generation ships, including fishing an special purpose vessels;
• Estimation and expertise of price forming and labor input, designing and testing of shipborn valves.
Exposits of equipment, samples of welds, videos and brochures on equipment, as well as consultations from SSTC experts provided for visitors of NEVA-2015 a comprehensive information on latest technologies of construction ships and off-shore facilities, designing shipbuilding enterprises and various types of vessels.
JSC SSTC held over 90 business meetings and discussions with interested visitors. Our exposition was visited by business representatives from Iran, Spain, Finland, Italy and many others. Specialists from JSC SSTC conducted meetings with representatives of Russian and foreign companies. Joint projects, supply of equipment and rendering services by JSC SSTC were discussed. We received a number of proposals for supplies and services from various companies.
All fields of SSTC activities were of great interest to the visitors, like technologies and equipment for welding and cutting of aluminum, training of foreign specialists, main process equipment for reconstruction of a shipyard, designing and construction of multi-sectional dock for a future shipbuilding facility, technologies and equipment for shiprepair, etc.
Robotized complex for laser welding, samples of welds, sample piece of membrane tank of a gas carrier, plasmatrons for welding of aluminum became an important part of our exhibition at NEVA – 2015.
The most interesting for visitors object was equipment complex for robotized welding with samples of heat exchange equipment.
One could appreciate the results of SSTC work on the project of modern shipbuilding facility in the course of expansion of Northern Shipyard and Zvezda facilities by electronic mockup and model, demonstrating high technological level of solutions, proposed by JSC SSTC, as well as economical and social value of new facilities.
Participation in exhibition cum conference NEVA-2015 supported reputation of JSC SSTC as a reliable business partner, establishment of mutually beneficial contacts, and promotion of our products and services in both domestic and international markets.
