JSC SSTC TOOK PART IN DSA 2018 EXHIBITION

The International Exhibition of Defense Systems and Services DSA, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from April 16 to 19, 2018 is one of five largest world exhibitions in the field of defense and safety and is also a key event for defense industry of Pacific Rim. The exhibition is held under the patronage of Malaysian Ministry of Defense and the Royal Malaysia Police and attracts the attention of leading manufacturers and buyers of military equipment and weapons from all around the world. In this year more than 1500 companies from 60 countries participated in the exhibition, the exhibition was visited by official delegations from 40 countries, national pavilions and expositions were arranged (China, Turkey, USA, The Republic of Korea, UAE, Pakistan, Italy, Germany, France, Great Britain, Canada, etc.).      

The Russian delegation at DSA 2018 consisted of more than 120 representatives from 14 companies. 

JSC SSTC took part in DSA 2018 with 12 sq. m. exhibition stand, located in Russian national pavilion, arranged by JSC Rosoboronexport. 

At the exhibition stand of JSC SSTC developments from the following fields were presented:     

- Setting up of naval bases for surface ships and submarines; 

- Design, modernization and technical retooling of shipbuilding and ship repair yards;

- Perspective technologies for shipbuilding and ship repair, including laser robotized welding, pipes and plates bending, cleaning of surfaces;

- Design and testing of shipborne valves and fittings.

The interactive model of naval base, incorporating virtual reality components, video films and booklets, describing various equipment, as well as consultations of specialists from JSC SSTC provided visitors of DSA-2018 with comprehensive information about state-of-art shipbuilding technologies, designing of shipyards and various types of vessels.  

Business meetings and negotiations were conducted at the exhibition stand of JSC SSTC. Also, our stand was visited by Mr. Valerii Ermolov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Malaysia, Assistant Naval Attache in Malaysia, as well as representatives from Royal Malaysian NAVY, SC Rostec in Malaysia and Bangladesh, representatives of business and mass media communities of Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, Singapore, Myanmar, etc.
