JSC SSTC ACCOMMODATED FIRST SCIENTIFIC-TECHNICAL CONFERENCE “NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN SHIPBUILDING INDUSTRY”

On November, 2022, JSC “Shipbuilding & Shiprepair Technology Center” accommodated the First Scientific-Technical Conference "New Technologies in Shipbuilding".

Representatives of the companies participated in the conference: JSC USC, JSC "Admiral Shipyard", JSC "Baltic Shipyard", PJSC SC "Severnaya Verf", JSC "Sredne-Nevsky shipbuilding plant", JSC PA "Sevmash", JSC SC "Zvezdochka", JSC "Malakhit Marine Engineering Bureau", JSC CDB ME "Rubin", FSUE "Krylov Shipbuilding Research Institute", JSC "Nevskoe Design Bureau", the Kurchatov Institute, CRI SM "Prometey", JSC "Nikiet", St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University, etc.  

Reports made in the frames of the conference were focusing on digital transformation of the industry, technological solutions for construction of advanced ships, development and implementation of state-of-art technologies at shipyards and marine engineering.

Scientists and shipbuilders from design bureaus and shipyards participating in this conference had a broad discussion on actual issues related to technological development of shipbuilding industry and defined trends for fruitful R&D and technical cooperation.
