«IMMOD -2005» will be held in Saint Petersburg
During 19-21 October, 2005, the second all-Russian research-and-practical conference will be held on simulation technique and its application in science and industry «Simulation. Theory and Practice - IMMOD -2005» will be held in Saint Petersburg (Russia).
The purpose of the Conference is dissemination of simulation methods and facilities to solve scientific and practical goals, stirring up of creative activity and strengthening research-and production potential of RF.

The Conference goals are:
- development and general conclusion of simulation technique and qualimetry models;
- exchange of experience and discussion of simulation research and practical applications results;
- exchange of experience in application of simulation technique to solve scientific and practical tasks;
- dissemination of experience in simulation training theory and practice.
It is proposed to include in the Conference program the papers covering most of all simulation of systems with discrete events and time. Papers on simulation of continuous systems based on differential equation will be included in the program of the Conference in case they contain results concerning the general methodological and programs-and- technical problems of simulation.
The conference research program covers the following topics:
- theory and methodology of simulation;
- estimation methods of models quality;
- methods and systems of distributed simulation;
- simulation of global processes;
- automation and visualization means of simulation;
- practical application of simulation and toolkits of simulation automation;
Venue of the Conference is FSUE «CRI of Shipbuilding Technology», 7, Promyshlennaya Str., Saint Petersburg, Russia. Metro station “Narvskaya”, you need pass across the square to the Kirovskiy Department store and then walk the right side of Promyshlennaya Street.
The Conference language will be Russian.
Accommodation of the Conference participants and attendants will be arranged in the Saint Petersburg hotels. The hotel reservation will be made according to preliminary applications placed in the intention notice. The hotel accommodation and other services are to be paid by the Conference participants.
Organization fee is 300 Rubles. Participation for post-graduate students and students is free of charge.
The opportunities will be provided for you to discuss with colleagues from various cities the last achievements of Russian science in the field of solution of simulation tasks and their application in scientific investigations and industry and other fields of national economy.
The Conference program provides for comprehensive discussion of main results and tendencies in the field of solution of theoretical and applied problems of simulation technique and defining the most priority and perspective directions in further investigations in this subject domain.
Within the frame of the above listed topics the plenary sessions will be conducted and work of sections and round tables arranged. Moreover, presentation of program facilities utilized at simulation of complicated objects and processes in various subject fields will be envisaged.
Based on the materials presented by the Conference participants a program of the conference as well as the Paper Proceeding will be formed and issued.
