JSC "SSTC" participated in India’s first Indigenous Aircraft Carrier “Vikrant” commissioning ceremony

The solemn ceremony of commissioning India’s first Indigenous Aircraft Carrier “Vikrant” was held at the premises of Cochin Shipyard Limited on September 2nd, 2022. The ceremony was lead by the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Mr. Narendra Modi. The Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral R. Hari Kumar, representatives of the Government of India and state of Kerala, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, executives of the Indian Navy and Cochin Shipyard Ltd., etc. also attended the ceremony.

The representatives of JSC “Shipbuilding & Shiprepair Technology Center” (JSC SSTC) have also participated in the ceremony as members of the Russian delegation. INS “Vikrant” was built with direct involvement of the company through intermediary of JSC “Rosoboronexport”: JSC SSTC was assigned as the head company to provide integrated technical assistance in development and commissioning of onboard AFC equipment.
