JSC SSTC PARTICIPATED IN IMDS-2021

International Maritime Defence Show “IMDS-2021”, conducted in June 23-27, 2021 in Saint Petersburg is one of the leading exhibitions in area of shipbuilding and marine armament. The exhibition accommodated 285 enterprises from 13 countries and was visited by 27 official delegations from 25 countries.   

IMDS inauguration ceremony started from a welcome speech of Yury Borisov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Alexander Beglov, governor of Saint Petersburg, Oleg Ryazantsev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The participants were interested in R&D, design, production and maintenance of military infrastructure and equipment, works and services for armed forces and defence industry, surveys in area of IT and new materials. 

International Maritime Defence Show was conducted with support of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Federal Service on Military and Technical Cooperation, government of Saint Petersburg and JSC “Rosoboronexport”. The participants were interested in R&D, design, production and maintenance of military infrastructure and equipment, works and services for armed forces and defence industry, surveys in area of IT and new materials. 

JSC SSTC was represented at IMDS-2021 in form of exposition (70m2) in pavilion G. Stand of JSC SSTC represented the following products and services rendered by the company:  
- establishment of onshore facilities for stationing, exploitation, maintenance and repair of surface ships and submarines;
- design, modernization and retooling of shipyards and dockyards;
- advanced technologies for shipbuilding and shiprepair industry including robotized laser systems, thermal cutting systems, flat section fabrication lines, welding equipment, mechanical equipment and technologies;
- calculation and expertise of pricing, norming of labor and labor intensity;
- design and trials of shipboard valves and fittings.

Interactive electronic 3D model of onshore stationing facilities using AR-technology, prototypes of shipboard valves and fittings, video clips and booklets on equipment and consultations rendered by specialists of JSC SSTC offered comprehensive information to the visitors of IMDS-2021 regarding advanced technologies for construction of ships, vessels and marine equipment, design of shipyards and various vessel types.

JSC SSTC exposition was visited by official delegations from Naval Forces of Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Iran as well as Russian companies (including JSC “Rosoboronexport”) and embassies of foreign countries (India, Tanzania).

Specialists of JSC SSTC conducted many discussions on current projects and prospects for cooperation in various aspects of JSC SSTC activities.
