JSC SSTC PARTICIPATED IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARITIME DEFENCE SHOW

 JSC SSTC participated in the International Maritime Defence Show (IMDS-2023), which was held from June 21 to 25, 2023.

For the first time this event was conducted in the Museum of Naval Glory the Congress and Exhibition Center, in premises of Tourist and Recreational Cluster OstrovFortow (City of Forts), located in Saint Petersburg, city of Kronstadt.

Welcoming speech during in opening ceremony of the IMDS-2023 was delivered by Mr. Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Mr. Aleksander Beglov, Governor of Saint-Petersburg, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, Commander-In-Chief of the Russian NAVY. The inauguration ceremony was attended by top managers of Russian and foreign companies, representatives of mass media.        

The International Maritime Defence Show was supported the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and Government of Saint Petersburg. Range of interest of event’s participants included scientific researches, designing, production and maintenance of armaments and military equipment, works and services for armed forces and defense industry as well as activities in the field of new materials and IT.     

This year latest developments of JSC SSTC in various areas, including also unique samples of ship borne fittings – filters, shutoff and control valves for naval ships and submarines, nuclear icebreakers, underwater and deep-water vehicles, etc. werepresented on its stand.

Visitors took much interest in the interactive models of naval ships stationing point and shipbuilding complex on the island of Kotlin, developed with use of augmented virtual reality, samples of unique ship borne fittings for naval ships and submarines, nuclear icebreakers, underwater and deep-water vehicles as well as other products, exhibited by JSC SSTC. 

As part of the International Maritime Defence Show specialists from JSC SSTCconducted international research and practice conference Simulation and Complex Modeling of Marine Equipment and Sea Transport Systems (SCM MEST – 2023).    

More than 250 leading Russian and foreign shipbuilding companies were gathered together in premises of a new exhibition space, containing modern pavilions, comfortable conference halls, as well as berths, located in basin of Srednaya Harbor (Mid Harbor) purposed for demonstration of naval ships, crafts and vessels.
