AT THE SHIPYARDS

Maritime doctrine of Russian Federation for a period up to 2020

SHIP DESIGN

Tichomirov A. A., Ilyin N. A. Multi-purpose fire-and-rescue boats
Worldwide experience of fire-and-rescue boats development is analyzed and a design of multi-purpose fire-and-rescue boat is proposed for fire protection of marine oil-and-gas platforms, oil-and-gas storage facilities, large-capacity ships and ports.

Reshetov N. A., Orlov N. V. Normative basis for shipbuilding of XXI century
Authors give revue of typical wrecks of transport ships and their reasons, perspective types of ships and means for provision of their safe operation. Necessity of developing of new normative documents for shipbuilding is pointed out.

NAVAL SHIPBUILDING

Zakharov I. G. Role of naval shipbuilding in provision of complex development of Russian shipbuilding in modern circumstances
Authors analyze the recent years situation in Russian naval shipbuilding, prospects of building naval ships for Navy and for export, ways of shipbuilding industry reforming.

Dymshits A. M, Karishnev N. S., Konson A. Koryakin Yu. A., Shesteren G. G. Ways of modernization of submarine sonar complexes
The paper considers the task of modernization of old-design sonar installations within the period of submarine repair at a shipyard by the example of modernization of sonar complex ÌÃÊ-400, developed in 1974.

SHIPBOARD POWER PLANTS

Denisov E. P. Results of summarizing of thermotechnical testing of trial and working condensing installations
On the basis of analysis of results of various condensing installations tests the author shows the possibility of evaluation of pressure in condensers depending on specific steam demand and mean temperature of condensation surface with taking into consideration of influence of used ejector. Empiric formulas for calculation of matrix with dense arrangement of pipes are given.

Sobolenko A. N. Generalized relations of load distribution law parameters of fishing trawlers main engines
Load distribution laws for fishing trawlers main engines at such modes of a ship operation as fishing and trip are given. Formulas are given for calculation of parameters of theoretical laws of distribution depending on parameters of ship's propulsion complex.

Kuvaytseva I. R., Sizova S. H., Sokolov B. G., Yurochkin V. M. Utilization of Navy converted technical means for small power engineering needs
The authors consider the problems of utilization of shipboard turbo-installations and creation of mini heat power plants on their basis. Composition of utilized shipboard installations and newly manufactured equipment is determined. Variants of potential use of shipboard turbo-installations for mini heat power plants of 4-6 MW capacity are given.

HULL GEAR AND ARRANGEMENTS

Galka V. L., Danilchenko T. Yu., Stchiglovsky K. B. Electrostatic spark safety of tankers of "Astrakhan" type
The authors tell about the features of appearance of electrostatic danger during mechanized washing of oil tanker holds. Results of electrization level measurements during washing procedures at tankers of type "Astrakhan" project 20070 are given. Danger of unreasonable excess of rated discharge of washing machines is noted.

MARINE ELECTRICAL AND RADIO EQUIPMENT

Ostretsov G. E., Klyatchko L. M. Method of forecasting phase condition of special purpose ship
Method of forecasting phase condition of a ship equipped with special go-devil instruments by set intervals of time is proposed. To provide the required accuracy in each cycle of forecasting it is necessary to refine the parameters of a ship movement mathematical model, actual resultant effect upon a ship and initial values of its phase coordinates.

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AND ECONOMICS

Davydenko S. V., Pavlovitch M. M., Ryabenky L. M., Tuchkov A. A., Fertman I. B., Popov K. V. Electronic archive of design documentation at shipyard
The authors consider the order of creation of electronic archive of design documentation and the most efficient means for storing data on ships being designed or built at a shipyard. They describe the principle scheme of electronic archive employed in CDB MT "Rubin" that can be used in development of electronic archive in other yards of the industry.

SHIPBUILDING MATERIALS

Kuzmin Yu. L., Trostchenko V. N., Medyanik T. E., Tarando G. V. Ice resistant anode assemblies for cathode corrosion protection systems
The authors tell about features of cathode protection of ships and structures operated in ice conditions and development of anode assemblies based on special materials and coatings.

Vikhman V. B., Andronov E. V. Influence of welding protection conditions and surface gazing of parent metal upon serviceability of weld joints of titanium alloys OT4 and BT6
The article examine structural strength, mechanical properties and gazing of thin-walled shells made of alloys OT4 and BT6c without rolling, with rolling and heating by gas torch, with sand-blast cleaning and etching. Welding of shells joints was executed in the open air with local protection and in a chamber of special installation with inert controlled atmosphere.

Andronov E. V., Zelenin V. A., Semenov V. A. Experience in welding of heat-exchanging equipment in chambers with controlled atmosphere
The authors analyze the results obtained in welding of joints of heat-exchanging equipment tubes with tube plates made of titanium and high-alloy steels when the method of tubes ends melting and weld penetration of tube wall was used.

Vaynerman A. E., Tchumakova I. V. Soldering of tungsten with copper alloys
The article tells about soldering alloy Cu-Mn (38-40 % Mn) and a procedure of soldering tungsten with copper alloys in argon of controlled purity in a chamber of "Atmosphere-1" installation that provide high level of soldered joints strength.

Aleksandrov M. V., Lysenkov P. M. Stress state of separating layer between propeller shaft and its lining
The article consider stress state of polymer separating layer between propeller shaft and its metal lining as applied to propulsion complexes with water lubrication of stern bearings and electric separating of parts, and give results of calculations fulfilled with certain reductions.
