The results of experimental study of influence of slot dampers in ship's rudder shell on the rudder's vibration intensity are given. The study allowed to determine the physics of the phenome-non that damps the rudder vibration and the intensity of flow rate pulsations due to the existence of dampers.

It is shown on the basis of experimental investigation results that at the communication units due to reradiation of noises from nearby radio transmitters the gain in decreasing of noise induced at active antennas can reach more than 10 dB when a magnetic type antenna element is used instead of an element of electrical type.
