The necessity of principal change in organisation of automatic control systems development has been argued. At the present time in constructing the complex systems it is not required to generate technical assignments for development of power part (e.g. electrical power station) and controlling one in the form of separate devices supplied as per separate technical specifications. The developer of power-plant part should be responsible for the whole complex including devices for automatic control.

Auxiliary pump-turbine unit is examined, in the pressure tube of which is installed a gas-lift unit as an additional quasi pump step and where the total utilisation of the turbine exhaust gas energy occurs. Qualitative and quantitative improvement of pump pressure-hoisting characteristics in maintaining efficiency of the pump-turbine unit as a whole is shown.

Availability of portable П-499 environment control electromagnetic equipment as part of shipboard communication complex is considered. The equipment can be used to evaluate and survey in time of signal-to-noise merit at the input of communication facility receivers. Such survey will permit to change antenna or channel frequency not waiting for loss of communication thus increasing the effectiveness of the same operation.

The main trends in development of simulators for training of ship’s hardware (SH) operators are analysed and standard block diagram is provided. The alternative realisation of operator workplaces and simulators are examined. Approach to fixation of operator’s error in controlling the SH on simulator which is based on the modified method of branches and bounds is described.
