CIVIL SHIBUILDING

Zhivotovsky G. A., Rodionov A. A. Multi-criteria design of hydrofoil ship's foil complex with compound design variables.
The design features of hydrofoil ship's foil complex in the presence of two ñriteria and compound design variables are considered. The problem is broken by design characteristic into design problems of bow and rear foils. In addition, decomposition by type of design variables is carried out. The results of optimization of the Cometa-type hydrofoil ship's foil complex have been presented.

Matlakh A. P. Research of ship structural strength in hull and ice interaction
The results of investigation of ship structures behavior and responses when floating in the ice are given taking into account the real conditions of hull and ice interaction. The advisability in designing the hull structures of application of real conditions ice loading data obtained from the ship control systems are shown, the mathematical models of defining the ice loads based on the structures deflected mode and methods of defining the rational coordinates of sensors installation for measurements and recording of ice load on the side bulkheads of ice tank have been developed.

Yarisov V. V. Formal safety estimation in calculating the ship stability under operation conditions as being dangerous from the turnover point of view.
The advantages of stochastic criteria of ship stability allowing one to increase the ship safe operation under various conditions and in different load states have been analyzed.

NAVAL SHIPBUILDING

Kotov M. V. Projects of missile rearmament of destroyers
Consideration of projects offered in the mid 30-ies of the last century for rearmament of destroyer pr. 30 with missile weapons as the ÊSSCH and SKS complexes is provided. The causes for rejection of the said rearmament are stated.

SHIP POWER PLANTS

Grygoriev A. V., Lyapidov K. S., Makarov L. S. Unified hydrographic ship's electric power plant based on the alternating current motion system
The major design phases of the first in the domestic shipbuilding unified hydrographic ship's electric power plant on the basis of alternating current are provided.

Zimin V. P. Rate fixing and methods of ensuring the environmentally safe nitrogen oxides content of exhausted gases from marine gas turbine engines
Problems of rate fixing and reducing the nitrogen oxide content of exhaust gases from marine gas turbine engines (GTE), as well as the ways of fresh water obtaining for ecological purposes onboard the ships and naval vessels are considered.

Obosov A. A. Smoothing algorithms of indicator diagrams
A detail description is given for developed digital filtration and smoothing algorithm, which can be used in functional diagnostics systems for marine slow-running diesel engines.

MARINE EQUIPMENT

Berestovitsky E. G., Obukhovsky S. A. Problems of constructing the modern specialized stand for vibroacoustic tests of control systems and devices
The problems arising in the construction of experimental stand basis for vibroacoustic control systems and devices testing and methods of their solution have been analyzed. The results of theoretical and experimental studies of various means efficiency in reduction of self-vibroacoustic stand interference and methods of their solution are provided.

Larionova D. G. Device for landing of the airplane-type PV on small tonnage vessel
Based on comparative analysis of adaptability of various pilotless vehicle (PV) types for small tonnage ecological monitoring and protection ships a conclusion is drawn in favor of the airplane-type PV. An advanced landing technique is proposed. The landing device and structure of landing information system is described.

MARINE INSTRUMENT-MAKING

Goltraf V. I. Application of basic technical solutions in the process of automation of advanced ships
The actual trends in development of complex ship hardware control systems making an impact on technical and economic indices of these automation systems have been considered. The basic technical solutions have been analyzed. Application of proposed in the article technical solutions will permit to obtain essential effect in terms of reducing the mass-dimensional and cost indices.

SHIPBUILDING ORGANIZATION AND TECHNOLOGY

Gerasimov N. I., Iva A. A. Technology for mounting of heavy-loaded welded elements for attachment of assembly-mounting units
Problems of butt welding of attachment points being under condition of influence of compression and tensile forces, as well as the weld defects arising in this case are considered. Technological versions of the present welding methods of high-strength butts and their disadvantages have been described. A fresh method of mounting of loaded supports for assembly-mounting units with the use of compression and tensile unloading and weld deformation tracing systems is proposed.
