AT THE SHIPBUILDING YARDS

CIVIL SHIPBUILDING

Logachev S. I. Current state of world and Russian shipbuilding

This article reviews changes in world stock of orders, delivery of vessels and number of concluded contracts for building new civil vessels in the last few years as well as and shipbuilding facilities operation rate. The author also analyzes development trends of domestic shipbuilding considering redundancy of shipbuilding facilities worldwide and deterioration of demands for new vessels.

Livshitz B. R., Lenskiy V. F., Aliseychik A. A. Self-lifting floating drilling rigs. Development trends

Here development trends of self-lifting floating drilling rigs (SLFR) are analyzed, the conclusion is made on perspectives of SLFR for deep-sea drilling and operations in ice conditions

NAVAL SHIPBUILDING

Ershov V. N., Katanovich A. A., Lyachgin N. I. Modern approach to design of interior communication systems

This article represents design principles of interior communication systems in 5th generation ships which are integrated in unified telecommunication network on basis of packet switching technology and stacking of Ethernet-based TCP/IP network protocols. Options for implementation of particular system design have been proposed.

Baskakov I. Y. Consturction of torpedo boats with wooden hulls

The author analyzes design and production process of torpedo boats with wooden hulls in USSR in middle 1930-s.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Odintsov A. V., Ryabokon A. S. Intergraph PP&M Information technology for offshore oil and gas development projects

Intergraph technologies provide wide capabilities on information support on full construction cycle of offshore platforms, being quite actual considering approved plans on Russia arctic shelf development

Tolstoguzov S. V., Shadrov A. V. Cooperation experience between planning and design office and shipyard in unified information environment FORAN V70

The story describes cooperation between JSC Vyborgsky shipyard and LLC RIKOSHET Design Group on design of P. 12840 transport pontoon/floating dock for forming and launching of P. 21900M ice-breakers.

SHIPBOARD SYSTEMS

Berestovitsky E. G., Legusha F. F., Musakaev M. A. Experimental research of Schlichting acoustic flow effect to energy dissipation in standing acoustic wave

Upon interaction of acoustic wave spreading in gas environment, dissipation of acoustic energy in boundary layer actuates due to generation of non-uniform viscous and heat waves on object’s surface. If solid object surface interacts with standing acoustic wave, the dissipation mechanism of acoustic energy changes. This happens because of Schlichting acoustic flow generation nearby object’s surface. This article is devoted to experimental research of Schlichting acoustic flow effect to energy dissipation in standing acoustic wave in laminar acoustiv boundary layer.

Solodchenkov V. F., Sokolov E. V. Experience in design of pumping equipment for LNG transfer systems

Description of structure and operation features of lng-pump designed by JSC LGM.

SHIPBUILDING ORGANIZATION AND TECHNOLOGY

Galochkin D. A., Ognev N. V., Burmistrov E. G. Development of flow process at shipyard production facilities on basis of simulation modeling and production logistics method

The authors hereby explain the conceptual approach to development of flow process at shipyard main production facilities on basis of simulation modeling and production logistics methods. The article contains block diagram describing generation of simulation model of shipyard production facilities as well as results of optimized computer modeling of main dependencies of logistic production subsystem as part of assembly and welding facility.

Pankratov Y. A., Kostyuchenko E. V., Trubetskoy N. K., Vasilyev A. A. Expansion of production facilities of JSC Zvezda in order to build sea transportation vessels

Authors hereby describe project being currently implemented in Far East region - new generation shipbuilding complex purposed for construction of heavy-tonnage vessels and shelf development facilities.

SHIPREPAIR AND UTILIZATION

Borisov A. M. Experience of steel hulls strength and water tightness restoration with use of reinforced concrete This article shows design solutions and data on restoration experience of steel hulls strength and water tightness with use of reinforced concrete in order to prolong their lifetime with minimum consumption of materials and resources.

Alexandrov N. I., Lyamin P. L., Petukhov V. V., Malishev S. P. Design of conditioning plant for liquid wastes formed at oil-and-gas offshore platforms and terminals

Radioactive wastes treatment directly on offshore platforms allows to decrease overall volume of radioactive wastes and improve radiation environment in course of oil harvesting. Cementation is one of main conditioning methods of liquid radioactive wastes. This article shows selection method of cementing station for nuclear radioactive wastes which is developed and manufactured by JSC SSTC.
