Romanchenko M. K., Pakhomova L. V. Technology of vibroprotection systems development on transport Defined are the parameters of diesel suspension with optimum rigidity. Examined is ship’s electric powerplant standard suspension ДГР30,1500 mounted on four supports. The author gives an example of oscillations complete separation by degrees of freedom under the conditions of vibration isolators’ equal rigidity components per axes. Disclosed are spectral amplitudes of aggregate’s centre of mass per six coordinates, showing inessential oscillations relatedness per all axes.

Peculiarities of selection of ship’s powerplant block diagram for fishing trawlers Analyzed are the problems of power-saving of fishing trawler ship’s powerplant due to implementation of a new block diagram with multifunctional power delivery from main engines as well as due to complex utilization of waste energy.

Obozov A. A. Methods of visualization of processes in marine diesel for solution of technical diagnostics problems The article describes non-traditional approach to solution of the problem of marine diesels technical diagnosing which is based on expert analysis of colour graphic images reflecting the operating processes in the engine. The patterns are being created by diagnostic system using the data received from sensors installed on the diesel.

Sumenkov V. M., Sen L. I. Model of streaming of rotating flow and fluid atomization by centrifugal burner Analyzed is a model of streaming of rotation flow and atomization of heavy sulfur-bearing fuel in centrifugal burners.

Pilot design of open-type submersible electrical motor is described. The ways of further development of the proposed design of such electric motors are mentioned.

Kurnosov A. A. Hydro-acoustic compatibility of submarines broadband systems and facilities The author cites the main methods of hydro-acoustic compatibility of dissimilar systems and facilities arranged onboard the submarine and being occasionally integrated in order to solve various problems. The author proposes a triple-stage approach: «evaluation of situation image – evaluation of hydro-acoustic compatibility – working-out of control recommendations». The approach is based on using of three «static filters» and of the results of simulation modeling of dynamically varying interference-warning situation.

Modern materials and technologies of cast porosity sealing/N. I. Gerasimov, V. A. Golland, M. V. Teplyashin, V. P. Galakhov, S. V. Tkachenko Described are modern materials, equipment and technologies for efficient sealing of castings and workpieces produced using powder metallurgy with the view of its implementation in ship’s fittings manufacturing. The authors give comparative assessment of new methods of products’ sealing and methods existing in domestic shipbuilding. Also described in brief is contemporary equipment providing highly efficient sealing of machine building parts porous structure.

Withdrawal of frothed polystyrene out of main ballast tanks with the help of vacuum plant when utilizing submarines/ V. Yu. Grabelnikov, S. V. Dobrovenko, K. N. Kulikov, L. M. Chernayenko, A. S. Borisov The article describes a new plant for unloading polystyrene out of main ballast tanks of submarines being utilized, eliminating pollution of the environment and trebling the efficiency of polystyrene unloading process.

Lyamin P. L., Anitropov V. A., Alexandrov N. I. Problems of safety provision when utilizing nuclear service vessels Condition of nuclear service ships is analyzed. Technical condition requirements are defined for the nuclear service ships prepared for utilization as well as infrastructure requirements for enterprises receiving and converting a ship. The authors describe basic measures providing for radiation and ecological safety of the process of nuclear service vessel utilization at the shipbuilding enterprises.

Auxiliary cruiser «Rus» The author traces the steps of building and operation of Russian transatlantic liner «Rossiya» on the eve of the World War I as well as its mobilization and participation in combat operation on Baltic Sea during World War I under the name of «Rus» and its post-war destiny.

Kondratenko R. V. First torpedo boats of the Russian fleet The article describes the first torpedo boats purchased in England for the Black Sea fleet on the eve of Russian-Turkish war of 1877–1878 and using of these boats against the attack of the Turkish fleet at the Sulin roadstead.

Chernikov I. I. Gunboats of «Krasnaya Zvezda»-type The author reviews the features of designing and building of armoured gunboats, their modernization and participation in the war with imperialistic Japan in 1945.
