Robotic complex for laser cutting and welding of ship hull structures and engineering articles in different space positions.

The robotic complex is intended for precision laser cutting and laser arc welding of 3D engineering articles and ship hull structures made of different grade steels as well as aluminum alloys.

The complex is built based on 25 kW fiber optical sources of laser radiation and optical switch capable of transmitting in turn via optical fiber a laser radiation to one of laser modules. Thanks to application as manipulator of welding robot installed on movable carriage, travelling along horizontal axis the complex enables manufacturing (processing) structures with dimensions up to 8000х2500х1500 mm.

After considering the results of the competition The best innovative project and the best research and engineering pilot project of the year”, within the frames of “HI-TECH” exhibition held in St. Petersburg on 12-14 March 2014 the pilot project was awarded with I degree diploma and a gold medal in category “The best innovative project in the field of machine building and metallurgic engineering”.
