Specialists of JSC “SSTC” initiated design supervision on construction, modernization and augmentation (overhauling) of production facilities at JSC “Onego Shipyard”.
Currently, works are focusing on removal of buildings and structures fouling with new facilities to be erected, laying new utilities and auxiliary facilities to ensure smooth construction process.
JSC “SSTC” is the general designer of the project, documentation for which was certified by Federal Autonomous Institution “Main Department of State Expertise” in June, 2021.

Construction, modernization and augmentation (overhauling) of production facilities at JSC “Onego Shipyard” is the joint project between JSC “Shipbuilding & Shiprepair Technology Center” and “Saint Petersburg Maritime Technical University” with the participation of FSUE “Rosmorport”. This project aims to establish the first “digital shipyard” for civil vessels, i.e. a modern shipbuilding complex in the Russian Federation focusing on construction of river-sea going ships.
“Digital shipyard” includes full digital simulation of articles, creation of virtual and simulation models of the enterprise, production procedures, “digitalization” of preproduction stage and 4D-planning based on virtual enterprise model and ongoing orders.
In frames of the project implementation, JSC “Onego Shipyard” shall acquire the demanded digital infrastructure and integrated digital “end-to-end” production management. Considering specific features of shipbuilding and shiprepair industry, this will be achieved by implementing new digital production, technological and management solutions. Such solutions should make a significant contribution to compression of preproduction and construction timelines, increase the technological level and production standards and establish extra motivation to attract and keep the qualified personnel at the shipyard.
