JSC SSTC took part in the exhibition NEVA-2017
The 14th International Exhibition and Conference for Shipping, Shipbuilding, Offshore Energy, Ports, Inland Waterways and Oceanography titled «NEVA-2017», which is considered to be one of the leading international civil marine exhibitions, took place in St. Petersburg on September 19th till 22nd, 2017. It is an acknowledged site for advance of the international cooperation in the field of development of marine equipment. This year more than 650 companies from 36 countries participated in the exhibition. At the NEVA-2017 Exhibition National pavilions were organized with the assistance of the governments, export councils and associations of the marine industry of the leading maritime countries, i.e. the Republic of Korea, the People`s Republic of China, Denmark, Iceland, Turkey, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, etc.
The opening ceremony of the NEVA-2017 Exhibition, which took place on September 19th, was attended by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Mr. Maxim Sokolov, the Vice Governor of St. Petersburg Mr. Igor Alben, the Assistant of the Secretary General of International Maritime Organization of the UNO Mr. Lawrence Barchue, the Prime Minister Mecklenburg –Vorpommern, Federal State of Germany, Ms. Manuela Schwesig, the USC JSC President Mr. Alexei Rakhmanov, heads of Russian and foreign scientific and industrial associations and shipbuilding companies.
JSC SSTC took part in the NEVA-2017 Exhibition with a booth of 66 sq.m at the pavilion F and demonstrated its achievements in the following areas:
- Design, modernization and technical re-equipment of shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises;
- Design of new generation vessels, including fishing vessels and special purpose vessels;
- High-precision measuring technologies;
- Advanced technologies for shipbuilding and ship repair, including mechanical assembly technologies, technologies for welding, cutting, bending of steel sheets and pipes, surface cleaning;
- Calculation and assessment of price formation, work quota setting and labor-intensiveness;
- Design and testing of marine pipeline valves and fittings.

Within the framework of the NEVA-2017 International Exhibition specialists of JSC SSTC organized and held the International Conference «Renewal of Fishing and Research Fleet; Development of Shipbuilding, Shipboard Mechanical Engineering, and Manufacturing of Equipment for Fishing Companies». More than 80 professionals working in the field of creation of fishing fleet in Russia, representatives of the ministries responsible for the development of fishing fleet, as well as journalists of the Internet portals «Korabel» and «Sudostroyeniye Info», the Media center of Expoforum and others took part in the conference.
