JSC "SSTC" participated in "DEFEXPO" (India)
In the period from March 28 to 31, 2016 the 9th international exhibition of land and marine armaments DEFEXPO India-2016 took place in Goa (Naqueri Quitolin Quepem Taluka of South Goa). More than 500 Indian companies and 490 foreign companies from 46 countries, including Russia, Israel, USA, Norway, France, Korea, Germany, Italy, China and Ukraine were exhibited there.
International exhibition DEFEXPO India 2016 was held under the aegis of Ministry of Defence of India and Indian industry confederation and is one of most notional foreign defence exhibition.
Russian stand was organized by JSC Rosoboronexport, and the same presented 18 leading concerns of Russian defence industry and incorporated companies, demonstrating their products.
JSC Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Technology Center demonstrated at the exhibition main activities areas as well as perspective developments as follows:
- development and modernization of shipbuilding and shiprepair yards;
- setting-up of on-shore infrastructure for surface ships and submarines;
- state-of-art technologies and equipment for thermal cutting, laser. Laser-arc and plasma welding, straightening and bending equipment, high-precision measuring technologies, samples, made from composite materials, etc.;
- special ship-borne pipelines fittings for different applications;
- design of special and auxiliary vessels;
- set of equipment for torpedo tubes repair.
