The 9th International Maritime Defence Show (IMDS-2017)

JSC SSTC will take part in International Maritime Defence Show (IMDS-2017), which is one of the leading exhibitions in the field of shipbuilding and naval armament. On a JSC SSTC booth (No. 715, 7th pavilion of Lenexpo Exhibition complex) will be presented state-of-art developments in the following fields:
- Setting-up on-shore infrastructure for surface ships and submarines;
- Design of shipbuilding and ship repair yards. Process of establishment of shipyards on the island of Kotlin and Zhatay Shipyard establishment will be presented as a model with virtual reality elements;
- Advanced technologies and equipment for shipyards and engineering plants (robotized laser welding complexes, thermal cutting complexes, flat sections production line, welding equipment, technologies and equipment for mechanical installations);
- Naval metrology, procedures and equipment for alignment of precision ship weapon systems;
- Virtual Research Center;
- Avtomated system "Sirius" is purposed for conducting full-cycle simulation survey of shipyard's main production facilities functioning;
- Calculation and estimation of pricing, labour rating and labour intensity;
- Design of fishing and special purpose vessels;
- New types of ship valves and fittings.
As part of International Maritime Defence Show, JSC SSTC specialists will also conduct fourth international scientific-practical conference "Simulation and complex modeling of maritime equipment and sea transport system" (SCM MEMTS-2017), where specialists from different Russia regions, as well as foreign specialists will participate. SCM MEMTS-2017 is going to take place in Saint-Petersburg on June 28th, 2017 and is an official event of International Maritime Defence Show 2017.
